Mac's Convenience Stores want to sell Alcohol
Mac's Convenience Stores says it would create up to 170 full-time
jobs and open 27 new outlets if the province allows it to sell
Vice-president Tom Moher says the chain would invest 54 million
dollars if given the green light to sell booze -- something Moher
says he's more optimistic about than ever before.
But Premier Kathleen Wynne said in June that the government is
not considering the prospect of alcohol sales in convenience stores.
