Horrible case of alleged neglect at Care Centre
Staff at a long-term care home in Alberta reportedly complained
about a rodent problem for a year before a dementia patient was
discovered with mice biting her face.
The woman -- who is recovering in hospital -- also has
disabilities and wasn't able to move the animals off her face.
The incident took place at Saint Therese Villa in Lethbridge,
which also had a nine-month bed-bug infestation, according to a
health-care advocacy group.
