Former Niagara Falls teacher sentenced on drunk driving charge
A Niagara Falls teacher who drove drunk with a van full of students won't be driving for the next two years.
48 year old Frances MacDonald received a two year driving ban, was fined 2 thousand dollars and ordered to perform community service.
MacDonald , a former teacher at Saint Paul High school, was on a field trip in May of 2012 with students in a van when she struck a motorcycle on Highway 3 in Haldimand.
None of the students were injured but the crash sent a 57 year old Hamilton man to hospital with injuries.
