A "suite" sale brings another 3 million to the Meridian Centre
Construction has just started and already it looks like St. Catharines new spectator facility is on the path to success.
First it was Meridian Credit Union who came to the plate, paying more than 5 million for the naming rights.
Last night, in a lottery held at the St. Catharines Club, 17 luxury suites were sold bringing in another 3 million dollars.
IceDogs owner Bill Burke was the first to be awarded a box.
The company that ran the draw says it has never seen luxury suites go this fast on an opening night.
