Douglas Memorial Hospital completes $325,000 renovation
The Douglas Memorial Site in Fort Erie is getting set to reopen following a $325,000 redevelopment.
Niagara Health System officials were on hand today to officially cut the ribbon for the new complex care and palliative care space at the south Niagara hospital.
The updated faciliy included aesthetic upgrades, six dedicated care beds and access to physiotherapy and speech, recreational and occupational therapy all on the same floor.
The new facilities are being prepared for patients beginning Thursday, September 19th.
