Regional councillors hire new CAO
After reviewing 120 applications for the job, Niagara Regional councillors have finally decided on a new Chief Administrative Officer.
At a special meeting last night, councillors selected a new CAO but we probably won't find out who got the job until early next week.
It took close to 2 and half hours of debate for councillors to make a final decision.
But councillors emerged calling it a constructive debate and not the angry rhetoric many were tossing around after chair Gary Burroughs postponed the original meeting to select the new CAO.
