Canadians can now opt out of web-history based advertisements
Canadian web-users now have a way to opt out of so-called behavioural advertising -- those online advertisements based on web browsing history.
The Digital Advertising Alliance Of Canada has launched your-ad-choices-dot-ca, which stops users from receiving behavioural
ads from 115 companies taking part in the program.
However, people can still receive targeted ads from companies not participating in the voluntary campaign.
