Good news for St. Catharines teen that wants to bring her service dog to School
Some good news for a St. Catharines teenager who wants to bring her support dog to high school.
Becca Droeshout suffers from severe anxiety but with her dog, a yellow Lab named Lilly, at her side she is able to cope and attend school.
After a rally at District School Board of Niagara headquarters on Tuesday, DSBN officials agreed to meet with Becca and her mother Lisa.
Lisa Droeshout tells the Larry Fedoruk program that Becky and Lily will attend a student access test on October 21st and once Lily passes, both can return to normal school and classroom activities.
Before that, Lily will undergo a temperment test as well.
