Return home for two Ontario men released from Egyptian jail delayed
Two Canadians are celebrating their release after about eight weeks in an Egyptian prison.
But while Toronto filmmaker John Greyson and London, Ontario doctor Tarek Loubani have been free since early yesterday, they're still trying to get out of Egypt.
The two were put on a ``stop-list'' by prosecutors -- red tape that prevented them from boarding a flight to Germany.
Cecilia Greyson has spoken to her brother by phone and says he was in good health and good spirits.
Prime Minister Harper welcomed news of the men's sudden release and says he`s optimistic they'll be home very soon.
