Tories urging NDP to act ..NOW
The Tories say the ball is now in Andrea Horwath's court.
Reacting to word the Liberals decision to cancel two power plants in Oakville and Mississauga will cost taxpayers around one billion dollars, Tory Energy Critic Lisa McLeod says its now up to the NDP to bring the Wynne government down.
Speaking to CKTB's Tom McConnell this morning, McLeod says there are several ways to bring an end to the current Liberal reign at Queens Park.
She says the premier can put a want of confidence motion tabled by the Tories to a vote, the government could choose to present a fiscal update next month as a confidence motion or the NDP can vote against the spring budget and force an election.
McLeod says the one billion dollar gas plant boondoggle is election worthy.
She adds she is getting sick of the song and dance routine between the Liberals and NDP.
