Niagara Falls man pronounced dead in hospital after single vehicle crash
A single vehicle collision in Niagara Falls has claimed the life of a 65 year old man.
Police responded to Victoria Plaza on Victoria Avenue just before eight o'clock Sunday night following reports of an accident.
NRP arrived to find the seriously hurt driver, and provided first aid until EMS arrived.
The man was transported to Greater Niagara General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to a police investigation the Niagara Falls resident was driving his 2008 Audi north bound on Victoria Avenue approaching Jepson Street when he lost control, left the roadway and struck a fence on the west side of Victoria Avenue.
No name has been released as police continue their investigation.
Any witnesses are asked to call police.
