UPDATE - Suspect Identified - Toddler in stolen car reunited with family after police chase
Some tense moments Friday morning after a car was stolen from a Niagara Falls convenience store with a two year old child strapped in the back seat.
NRP spokesman Constable Derek Watson tells 610 CKTB News the call came in at 8:18 and seven minutes later the stolen vehicle was pulled over on the Toronto bound QEW in St Catharines near the Garden City Skyway.
The boy was unharmed and re-united with his family.
42-year old Christopher Vlasak of Toronto was arrested and charged with Abduction of a Person Under 14, and Theft Under $5000.
Vlasak will appear in court on Saturday.
