Port Colborne man remains in Russian jail
Greenpeace believes the bail hearing in Russia for a Port Colborne activist will be held sometime this week.
But spokesperson Farrah Kahn doesn't hold out hope Paul Ruzycki will be released on bail pending his trial on piracy charges.
Kahn says so far none of the Arctic 30 who appeared before the courts have been granted bail.
The 30 activists were arrested September 19th aboard the Greenpeace ship Arctic Sunrise after two members attempted to board a Russian owned oil platform.
Kahn says right now they are trying to raise awareness about the conditions at the detention centre where they are being held.
She says they are being held alone in small cells and are given maybe a half hour a day of exercise.
And she adds efforts to get care packages to the men have not always been successful.
