Wallen to speak as Senate debate continues
The Senate will resume debate today on the possible suspension of senators Patrick Brazeau, Mike Duffy and Pamela Wallin for mismanaging house resources.
Brazeau told the chamber that he and his embattled colleagues are being punished without ever being tried -- or even charged.
Duffy made the same case, while also launching explosive accusations of a high-level coverup in his case.
He alleges the Prime Minister's Office had a direct hand in his troubles by ordering him to pay back the 90-thousand dollars in questionable housing claims.
Wallin is expected to speak to the chamber today before senators vote on the motion to suspend the trio without pay or benefits.
