Pamela Wallin addresses Senate scandal
Senator Pamela Wallin talked about personal vendettas and abuses of power in her address to the Upper Chamber.
Wallin made her case to keep her job, as she faces suspension without pay or benefits on allegations of gross negligence.
The embattled senator claims her problems are the result of ``personal vendettas'' against her by confidantes of Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
In Parliament this afternoon, the prime minister refuted claims that Senator Mike Duffy made in his comments to the Senate yesterday.
Harper says he told Duffy to repay his expenses, not his former chief of staff Nigel Wright, and says that is why Wright is no longer working for him and why Duffy is no longer in the Senate.
