More fireworks today in the House of Commons over the Senate scandal
More fireworks in the House of Commons with the Opposition continuing to hammer away at the prime minister over the Senate expenses scandal.
N-D-P Leader Tom Mulcair picked away at past statements Stephen Harper has made about who knew what about a 90-thousand-dollar payoff of Senator Mike Duffy's inappropriate expense claims.
Harper continues to insist his former chief of staff Nigel Wright made the decision to write Duffy a cheque.
And Harper says the bottom line in the expense affair is simple -- senators cannot ding taxpayers for expenses they did not incur.
