Make that four abandoned kittens
A 500 dollar reward is being offered for anyone who calls in with a tip that leads to the conviction of the person who abandoned four kittens in a donation clothing bin in St. Catharines.
Lincoln County Humane Society Director Kevin Strooband says a woman heard the kitten's cries yesterday afternoon coming from the bin in the parking lot of the No Frill's grocery store on Lake Street.
He says they found two black kittens locked inside the bin and then a further search this morning of the bins found another two black and white kittens.
Strooband says the company that owns the bins, Canadian Community Support Foundation, is offering the reward and is also paying for surgery to neuter the kittens and get them ready for adoption.
Pictures of the baby felines can be found on the LCHS Facebook page.
He hopes someone will take a look and recognize where they came from.
