We're into the final week of Iron Mike's Seven Deadly Sins!
This Week we are taking the best of Gluttony, pride, lust, pride, greed, sloth, and envy. This is your last chance to get to the beach on us!
GREEN DAY: Tour Cities Announced
Green Day have announced the cities -- but no venues -- for the first leg of their North American tour. It kicks off July 3rd.
Green Day's new album, 21st Century Breakdown, is due out May 15th.
July 16: Hamilton, Ont.
More than 8,000 AC/DC fans have been conned in a 3 million GBP ticket scam on the band's world tour.
Organisers raked in 300,000 GBP in ticket sales for a bogus show in Bucharest, Romania, next month before the con was rumbled.
Organisers have apparently fled to Israel and their company PlayCool is no longer trading
Jane's Addiction Reunion Marred By Feuds
War has broken out among the original members of Jane's Addiction, who are gearing up for their first tour in almost 18 years.
Singer Perry Farrell said that a mediation attempt by Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, with whom Jane's Addiction will tour next month, was unsuccessful.
But despite the temper tantrums, Farrell is determined to keep Jane's Addiction together. He, guitarist Dave Navarro and drummer Steven Perkins have toured on and off over the years. Bassist Eric Avery is back in the lineup after declining to play with the band after it first broke up in 1991. His return appears to have changed the delicate chemistry.
"I'm not going to tell you it's been all smooches and hugs. But it shouldn't be because that would be a bore,"
"If my band didn't have issues, if they didn't throw tantrums, I would think I was with a bunch of suckers. As long as they can handle it, I can handle it. After all we're just delivering music that people love, so how bad can it be? It could be worse. We could be drafted."
"I just talked to Eric man-to-man. We're different people, that's okay. He serves a different purpose, he's got a different frequency he operates on. I'm overjoyed that we're working together. I don't care that we butt heads as long as when we hit the stage we blast on people."
NINJA tour will hit Toronto june 2nd and darien lake june 3
Pink Floyd is suing EMI and its private equity firm owners, Terra Firma, claiming that the label has miscalculated their royalty payments. Pink Floyd has been with EMI since 1967, and the music company was purchased by Terra Firma in 2007. According to the U.K.'s Guardian, the legal action likely occurred during the band's negotiations over payments that occur every three years. The exact terms of the lawsuit weren't disclosed.
Waiting for System Of A Down to get back together? Better not. Last week, Billy Corgan checked out a dozen drummers to join The Smashing Pumpins, and SOAD's John Dolmayan was one of the candidates.
A message from Corgan on The Smashing Pumpkins' website reads: "In total, 12 drummers were auditioned [in Los Angeles] on Tuesday. An additional tryout could potentially be held in May due to such overwhelming response to the audition process."
"Overall, the drumming auditions were considered a very positive experience," Corgan continues. "The talent in all the drummers that tried out was incredible. Some of the candidates include John Dolmayan of SYSTEM OF A DOWN .

The auditions - part of Corgan's plan to rebuild The Smashing Pumpkins from the ground up - were the result of founding member Jimmy Chamberlin's decision to leave the band.
A movie about The White Stripes is in the pipeline
Details are scarce, but according to Self-Titled magazine, Jack White is currently mixing 40 songs for the soundtrack and it's expected to hit cinemas (possibly) later this year.
Add this to White's latest side-project commitments - The Dead Weather's debut album and the freshly-confirmed (by Dead Weather and Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Dean Fertita) summer tour "going through the fall and possibly beyond" - and you have to wonder how he does it.
And we haven't even started on the continued development of Third Man Records...

Melissa and Robert Schumann say their two daughters, 11 and 5, walked into the restroom and saw two women "servicing" two men.
Melissa says, "My 11-year-old asked me how come two women were coming out of the bathroom and how come two guys were in there and they were making funny noises."
A spokesperson for Taco Bell released a statement saying ""The safety of our customers is our number one priority, and although this is an isolated incident, we're having self-locking doors installed as a precautionary measure."
