Favorite HTZ-FM High memory: Being interviewed for the gig by the PD, at the time, Karen Steele and Kristy Knight. They ran me through the ringer with questions including the standard "Where do you see yourself in 5 years.. What do you want to do with your life?" All that kept racing through my head was that stupid Twisted Sister Video.. so I put on my best metal face and replied " I Wanna Rock." Knight then says " Anyone that quotes Twisted Sister in an interview gets the gig!".... so yea, thanks to Twisted Sister and KK for that one.

When I was young I wanted to be Ace Frehley. Discovering that this was going to be impossible, I instead spent my formative years chasing down Gene Simmons' phone number in the Manhattan phone book, and trying to figure out ways I could chase down Gene himself. This is why I got into radio. Hey, you never know! One day they might let me talk to important people! (... if they ever let me out of the control room and take off the jacket.)
After my years of college radio, country radio, and radio stations where they won't let me play KISS and The Headstones, I landed smack in the lap of HTZ FM - Southern Ontario's Best Rock, and here I plan to stay. I hear that after my 30,000 mile checkup they're going to give me a personalised coffee mug!
